Tejon Region, Southern California
The Tejon region of southern California is the only place where the Sierra Nevada,
Mojave Desert, San Joaquin Valley and Southwest Coastal Ranges converge. This
natural crossroads features great diversity, although as a photographer I have
been particularly taken with the area's rolling grass hills pockmarked with stately
oak trees. As an Arizonan I've only just begun exploring the region, mainly from
the comfort of my Jeep, but I'll soon return with hiking boots and topo
maps so check back periodically for more photos from Tejon.
