These first three photos show Mule Deer shrouded

by a rare snow in the foothills of the Rincons

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As I tracked this mule deer, a wildlife biologist

somewhere was using the radio collar

to do the same (look closely).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

People tend to be more impressed with photos of

deer than tortoises, but these little guys are

actually much more difficult to find.
