(Photo ID: GC1) The Colorado River, as seen from the bottom of the Nankoweap Trail. A 1996 issue of Arizona Highways called the Nankoweap Trail the "Scariest trail in the Grand Canyon." Well...maybe...maybe not. But it's definitely the longest, toughest established route to the bottom that I know of.
Unlike all my other nature photos, this one was shot with 35mm film, before I went digital. Therefore, the maximum print size for this photo is 20 inches. Please remember that when ordering.
