There is a certain wisdom in the face of a

bearded Mountain Goat. They stare at

you like they know something.

I sometimes tell people this is a photo of a unicorn.

A disturbingly high percentage of people believe me.

These hefty Rocky Mt. Bighorn Sheep

make desert bighorns look anorexic.

White Tailed Deer

When traveling life's road, take time

to stop and eat the flowers.

It doesn't matter how much time and effort I put into

stalking a trophy buck. Everyone likes photos of cute

little squirrels more. This one happens to

be a Columbian Ground Squirrel

I did not pursue this beaver. He pursued me.

The hissing, tooth-flashing, tail-slapping

little guy was apparently upset that

I pitched a tent near his dam.

Baby Mountain Goat.

Young Mountain Goat.

The image above is dedicated to the Grizzly

Bear who  persuaded me not

to take his picture.
