I have found many antlers but nothing this big.

The lone elk horn was at the south rim of the Grand

Canyon, just a few feet from the edge of the canyon.

It was nearly as tall as me and must have weighed

15 or 20 pounds. It's hard to imagine any animal walking

around with two of these things stuck to its head.

It was at a fairly obscure location with no real

hiking trail so hopefully it's still out there.
