When I spotted this eagle, my camera was in my pack.

I pulled it out as quickly as I could and managed to rapidly fire

off a few shots before the bird flew away. No time to set up a tripod.

No time to attach a bigger lens. No time to walk around the eagle for a

better angle to the sun. Oh well, these fuzzy, backlit, heavily cropped

photos are what they are. But hey, it's still a frickin' Bald Eagle!
